The influencer model opens the door for conversation on organizational change. In evaluating areas of opportunity one section in particular, vital behaviors, cannot be overlooked. These behaviors are actions that bring forth the greatest amounts of change (Grenny, Patterson, Maxfield, McMillian, Switzler, 2013) in any organization. Should my organization embrace these vital behaviors with open arms my ultimate goal of blended learning in all ELAR classrooms can be achieved.

Vital 1: eliminating the lack of available technology

One of the major setbacks to blended learning is not have enough COWS available for teachers to utilize. By encouraging students to utilize educational games such as quizlet, and kahoots, teachers are able to demonstrate the benefits of blended learning and their why simultaneously. This eliminates the stress of creating a blended atmosphere that lacks technology; which is the cornerstone. Teachers have the resource available

Vital 2: classroom management

When looking at vital behaviors and asking myself “what is the one thing that I need other teachers to have in their classrooms in order for blended learning to be a success” the answer is good classroom management. This is essential to the flow and function of every classroom. Students who are properly engaged and well managed with their time and instructional directives do not have room for behavior issues. This is not limited to behavior issues. It also includes lack of interest and the monotony of an everyday routine.
