Manifesto. A mid 17th century word: from Italian, from manifestare, from Latin, ‘make public,’ from manifestus ‘obvious’, translated to the English word manifest; which means clear or obvious to the eye or mind. Education is anything but clear or obvious and the trails we experience as teachers supersede even the imaginations of the worlds greatest politicians. Here are my thoughts in letter form to my ally - my great-grandmother. Enjoy!
